Anyway, todays gift guide is for the person in your life who is always decorating their room, buying the nicest home decor and just wants to have the best looking house on the block.

This gift guide was hard to find items because everyone has different taste and style. However, I hope you got a little bit of inspiration. There is one last gift guide before Christmas, going up on Christmas Eve!! Screen Shot 2015-12-20 at 7.27.21 PM

Styled: Flare Pants

Ahhhhh, flare pants bring some memories of the early 2000’s. I was only a young girl but I know my older sisters definitely rocked those boot cut and flare jeans. They’re back again because of the 70’s trend but now the flare is making it’s way to other types of pants. Being a curious fashion lover, I tried on a lot of flare pants but oh man, they did not suit me. Until now!! I found a great pair that fits me perfectly and doesn’t look like I’m wearing a maxi skirt/pj pants. Not going to lie, I kind of felt like Selena Gomez when she was wearing that silk PJ set around Paris.

holiday gift guide | for the food lover

I don’t know about you, but I’ve already started my Christmas shopping. Made my list and I’ve checked it more then twice. This year I’m going to do holiday gift guides, but for every type of person in your life. From your friend who never stops talking about food to your Dad who is always up to date on the latest technologies (surely not my Dad! Sorry Dad).

I hope you get some inspiration for your gifting this holiday season. I’ll be posting the gift guides every Wednesday and Sunday.

Outfits 17+18 | 15 pieces.. 20 ways

It’s all about the leather and black in outfits 17+18…what else is new? Layers are making another comeback in these outfits because lets get real, if you can wear multiple items at once and still look sweet, then why not, amiright?

THE 15 PIECES ARE: jacket, cardigan, tank, lace-up shirt, flannel, turtleneck, tee, skirt, joggers, leather leggings, black jeans, baggy/ripped jeans, adidas, boots, purse. The necklace, sunnies and scarf are accessories you can add to any outfit.

Outfit 17 had a lot of layers, again, a necessity for the fall weather. I used my scarf kind of as my jacket, wrapped around my shoulders. I added the flannel around the waste for a sporty look.

Outfit 18 kind of had the same vibe, but I actually wore my flannel and added a leather jacket. I think it looks cool how the shirt is really long, the flannel is a bit shorter and then the jacket is a lot shorter. Wearing two items with leather is okay here because it’s broken up by the shirts.

Day to Night Outfits

I bought this romper a few weeks ago and haven’t worn it yet. Story of my life. Mostly because I didn’t have anywhere to wear it too, as I thought it would be a ‘going out’ romper. But I’ve wanted to wear it sooooo badly and I thought that there must be a way for me to style it for during the day (casual). The first idea that came to mind was add some sneakers and wrap a flannel around my waist. Turns out, it really dressed down the romper and now I can wear it to run errands or go for lunch. I then realized that I also do want to be able to wear this out into the evening, maybe for some drinks or a walk downtown. Here are my versions of a day to night outfit with only making a couple simple and quick changes. This could also work for your LBD that’s been hanging in your closet with nowhere to go. Hope you enjoy!!

Really simple, minimal jewelry and light makeup. IMG_5249

NIGHT

IMG_5333

To create the ‘NIGHT’ look, I chucked my sneakers and flannel to the side, added a bold lip, put my hair half up, added a simple necklace (because I didn’t want to overpower the lace detailing on the romper) and put on some comfy block heel sandals. IMG_5351 IMG_5367 IMG_5371

I think these two looks are total opposites and buying pieces that are versatile like this; are great for a busy lifestyle and your wallet.

Wishlist…Book Edition

A lot of people know that I don’t like to read unless it has to do with fashion. This mostly includes magazines, but over the past year I have come across and read some really good books under the realm of fashion and blogging. Recently, I went to Chapter’s and I saw a few books that I need to buy, as in I need them right now. I have heard about all these books but have never looked at them in the flesh. I think the Summer is a perfect time to catch up on some reading you’ve been too busy for. I can’t wait to buy these and sit outside on a sunny day with some Starbucks and start reading! If you have read these books let me know what you think in the comments!
