I’m back with another round of current obsessions, I’m finding that whatever I’m obsessed with I usually don’t actually own the item…sadness. My obsessions can change daily, weekly or monthly but there is usually an item that I become obsessed with for a couple months. I want to share with you guys what I love because maybe you love them to or, once seeing this this post, you’ll become obsessed! Let me know in the comments!
SNEAKERS! I can’t stop looking at pics of sneakers on Tumblr, Insta and Pinterest… the twist it adds to your outfit is so enticing. I remember around three years ago I bought a pair of New Balance sneakers in this pink and black colour way, I thought they would make my outfit of jeans and a tee or leggings and a knit sweater look more sporty. Unfortunately, I hardly ever wore them but I think now, I need to go back home and look for them so I can wear them again. Good thing my foot size hasn’t grown at all..lol
I lurked very far into my personal Instagram account and found the photo of my New Balances. From three years ago and I captioned it “Being a loser and wearing running shoes to work”…. Don’t fret, I’m calling myself a hypocrite too but things change! I also worked in a Deli at a grocery store so I guess you could say I was ahead of the trend and stylish while serving sliced black forest ham (shoutout to my Deli family). I just realized, this is also a #TBT to my style when I was 16 years old.

I’m back again, with another round of current obsessions. As you know, winter can get very, very cold here in Canada; which means SWEATERS ON SWEATERS ON SWEATERS. Currently, I am obsessing over turtleneck and cowl-neck sweaters. The bigger the better; in other words, oversized. These sweaters are so versatile, you can wear them with leggings for a casual look. Or, you can add some fancy earrings and a necklace to dress it up.
The one great thing about these sweaters is that they double as a scarf, so you can keep extra warm this winter. Let me know in the comments what your favourite sweater style is for the winter!
Oh! And Happy Black Friday Shopping!!!!!!

At first, I was so skeptic of these sweaters and thought they were ‘ugly’. This season, I have a new found love for them. They are SO comfy and can literally go with anything in your wardrobe. I’m glad they are back this Fall/Winter season so I can give them a second chance. I bought one at H&M over the weekend and I want to wear it everyday. Unfortunately, I can’t bring myself to do that.
I have been seeing these sweaters pop up everywhere, H&M had a great price of $19.95 on the one I bought. I wasn’t able to take any pics of how I styled mine but there will FOR SURE be a post in the future featuring it, so subscribe to be the first to see new posts!
A couple ways to style them are: layered over top a flannel/button down, under your fav leather jacket, tucked into distressed denim or with that A-line skirt you have been dying to wear. The possibilities are endless since these sweaters come in so many different styles, shapes and colours.

So by the title, you can probably tell that I will be non-stop gushing over my (drumroll) current obsession!!
I’m not quite sure what the name of the item is called but, I did some research (aka: Tumblr, Pinterest, Google) and found a couple names for it. It is the gypsy, bib, metal, coin, statement necklaces. Hopefully, you have some idea of what I am talking about.
Let me know in the comments what you think of these necklaces. Be sure to subscribe to hungry4style to the right and follow my Instagram @hungry4style_ !!
After seeing the first pic, you are probably in love too. I completely understand why and I am glad we share the same love interests for a piece of jewelry. A couple months ago is when I first started seeing this beautiful necklace style and I got attached. I just had to find one for myself. I found the perfect one recently, when I went to Aldo (four pics down) and it was actually a reasonable price at $25.
The above necklace has the perfect mix of silvers, dark silvers and blacks. Soon enough, it will be hanging on my jewelry holder.
